What is Monthly payments?

In short

Whether a policy can be paid for in instalments each month instead of in one lump sum.

Monthly payments mean a policy is paid for in instalments across the year rather than in a single sum. They make a large premium easier to carry and keep cover running when cash is tight, though an instalment plan can carry extra terms. The trade-off runs between easier cash flow and fewer conditions. 1st Insurance does not offer monthly payments. AA Breakdown, Abiki Brokers, Absa and Acceptance Insurance all do, so the monthly route is open at most of the providers here.
